Right before I decided to switch to natural and nontoxic beauty products I was convinced by my esthetician to start using a brow definer and filler.  She was so right, using a product for my eyebrows made a dramatic difference in my simple everyday makeup routine, from then on I was hooked.  Well, fast forward two months later, I decided to quit the toxic makeup cold turkey and ditched everything into the trash can that day.  Due to time and money, I slowly built back up my lineup of beauty products and I was waiting to purchase the eyebrow definer until I both found one with good reviews and also got a few other more important staples purchased first.  After looking around many beauty stores and websites I came across the Plume Science Eyebrow Pomade and with such great reviews I decided to give it a try.  Read on to see my Plume Science Nourish & Define Eyebrow Pomade Review.

Ingredients: isoamyl laurate, isoamyl cocoate, silica, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, oryza sativa cera (rice bran wax), butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, candelilla cera (candelilla wax), rhus verniciflua peel cera (berry wax), ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, emblica officinalis fruit extract, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, hydrogenated olive oil, olea europaea (olive) oil unsaponifiables, cera carnauba (carnauba wax), tocopheryl acetate, coleus forskohlii root oil, sodium cocoyl glutamate, lauric acid, arginine, cystine
may also contain:
ci77891 (titanium dioxide) ci 77492 (iron oxide yellow) ci 77491 (iron oxide red) ci 77499 (iron oxide black)

Texture: The texture of this product, to me, is best described as dense and "cakey".  It reminds me as if you had a lipstick that was smushed and crushed up into a small jar.  It is not dry but yet smooth with a creamy consistency.

How To Use: With this product a little goes a long way for sure!  Included with this brow pomade is an angled eyebrow brush and I simply dap the tip of the brush into the pomade and follow the natural curvature of my brows on the bottom to define the arch.  Next I will use another small dab to follow the top arch curvature and finally add a small amount towards the center while using light brushing strokes to blend everything together.  If I feel like the one end of my brow is more dense than the other then I add a bit more to even it out or use the brush wand at the other end of the makeup brush to brush my brows and encourage the product to spread out more evenly.  The product is very easy to use as long as you take my advice and place just a small amount at a time!

Results: I love this product, it works even better than the more chemical laden product I was using before.  Not only does it make a very noticeable difference in my overall look, but it is also smudge proof and stays in place all day.

Cost: The cost is $38 and the product is available in 5 shades: Golden Silk (Blonde), Ashy Daybreak (Taupe), Chestnut Decadence (Medium Brown), Cinnamon Cashmere (Chocolate Brown), Endless Midnight (Ebony)

Overall Grade: I would give this product an A based on the quality of the product and its ability to last a while due to the density of the pigment, the fact that it comes with a handy brush, and the availability of 5 different shades.  To be honest, I don't know that there are any "bad" natural eyebrow fillers out there (and I'm no beauty expert so I could be wrong), but this product to me seems to be much higher quality than the others I have tried and that is why I will be sticking with this one in my makeup routine for quite a while I am sure!
