Petit Vour Beauty Subscription Box: March Review

Let’s talk today about some clean beauty products for Spring time!!  This last month I traveled a bit for a dental conference so I was in need of many of the products included in the Petit Vour Beauty Box for March and had a great chance to review them thoroughly!  Plus I had a few days away to learn about dentistry and relax (and eat deep dish pizza LOL) which is always a plus!!  Back to the products now - there were four products included in the box this last month and here are my honest thoughts on all of them! These beauty boxes are always such a fun surprise every month and are great for those on their clean beauty journey!

Now as I post this, we are currently well into the month of April but I delayed posting because I have been working on reformatting how I do my videos to make them shorter, more to the point, and more excitement! Want to check out the final result?? Scroll to the end of this post to view (keep in mind my video skills are still a work in progress LOL)!

KVoss Bronzing Potion Glow Cream

This one was definitely my favorite of the products this month because it reminded me of the sun kissed glow that is just around the corner!  In my opinion, the best thing about this product was the formulation - as it is a cream, I feel it is very easy to apply.  Just dab or sweep across the bridge of the nose and cheekbones and soon you will look like you just came back from an island vacay!!  The creamy formulation also allows you to use just a touch of bronze or layer it for a deeper glow.  The color is a nice shimmery bronze that you can customize by the amount of layers you put on! The only drawback is that it is a little pricey, but in my opinion I think a little goes a long way so the small size I was provided (the 10 mL) should last me the whole summer I would think.  Bottom Line: Wonderful bronzer that will give you a sun kissed glow without the sun exposure.

Cost: $20 for 10 mL/ $52 for 30 mL

Little Barn Apothecary Honeysuckle + Grapefruit Body Oil

Right away I knew I would love this product because the scent was phenomenal and oh so perfect for spring time!  I applied this oil to my whole body as my skin was extremely dry and it sank right and did not leave it feeling oily at all - just smooth and moisturized.  The avocado oil is a highly penetrating and moisturizing oil and is so good for the skin, delivering a healthy dose of antioxidants.  The oil is definitely pricey, in my opinion, so for me this would be more a gift option for someone or a splurge if I were to purchase on my own.  Bottom Line: Amazing smell, highly moisturizing, but a little costly.

Cost: $50 for 4 Oz.

Kahina Giving Beauty Oil Cleanser

I have used many skin cleansers but my favorite type are always the oil variety and this one is no exception.  The oil worked to remove makeup and dirt from my face without stripping it of moisture.  When combined with water, a gentle foam then washes it all away.  This cleanser also had a nice, subtle fragrance and left my skin feeling clean and refreshed.  While also a bit pricey, I think face cleansers are a crucial item in the skincare routine so this price seems fair to me. Bottom Line: Removes makeup and dirt gently without stripping moisture away from the face leaving your skin clean and soft.

Cost: $59 for 3.3 Fl. Oz.

Andalou Naturals Citrus Sunflower Uplifting Shower Gel

This item was my least favorite although I wanted to love it.  Shower gels for me are sort of a luxury because typically I stick to just the plain bar soap and don’t spend for shower gels so I was exited to be gifted this one.  Upon first use I was a bit disappointed with this one because it had very minimal foaming action and the smell wasn’t all too impressive (not bad but just didn’t wow me).  I would say that it did help to moisturize my skin but I don’t think that was enough to make me want to purchase a full size bottle of this product.  Bottom Line: Very minimal foaming action, reasonably priced travel size product but not the best shower gel out there.

Cost: $10 for 8.5 Fl.Oz. or $2 for 1.7 Fl.Oz.
